In contrast, he cites an example of good practice unearthed by Roy Greenslade, but does not use this to say that local newspapers are brilliant. That is, of course, because to make such a case on that basis would be foolish. The company continually trumpets its embracement of the digital age yet puts fewer and fewer resources into any of its media at grass roots, and has actually axed several sections of the Lichfield website in question because they simply hadn't been updated or had anything filed to them since the massive reductions in staffing at the end of March.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6992282810610869974.post-54131706871722289622009-07-16T18:56:27.134+02:002009-07-16T18:56:27.134+02:00A quick plea to those using the comments facility ...A quick plea to those using the comments facility on this blog: please play the ball and not the man.Paul Linfordhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01977920120772282561noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6992282810610869974.post-62477746747931278532009-07-16T18:45:40.409+02:002009-07-16T18:45:40.409+02:00This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.Billynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6992282810610869974.post-3771505014661965352009-07-15T20:07:37.591+02:002009-07-15T20:07:37.591+02:00Surprising to me... our inbox is full of stories w...Surprising to me... our inbox is full of stories waiting to be written (I just need to find the time/contributors)!

Phil @ The Lichfield BlogPhilip Johnhttp://thelichfieldblog.co.uknoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6992282810610869974.post-15358431091608430752009-06-25T19:48:10.193+02:002009-06-25T19:48:10.193+02:00Is the NUJ guilty of scaremongering?
